Veteran's Day 5K 2026

The race.

The 10th Annual Veteran's Day 5K takes place November 8, 2026, in Danville, Illinois, benefiting American Legion Post 210. The 5K course begins and ends at the legion, looping through the residential neighborhood to the north with rolling hills. The race starts at 11:00 am on Saturday. Online registration closes November 6th, with race-day registration from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Packet pickup, including race bibs and shirts, occurs race morning from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the legion. Participants receive a shirt with registration. After the race, the legion provides free chili and desserts, with a silent auction and 50/50 drawing. Funds support local veterans and legion facility improvements.
