About the race
The race.
The Toledo Road Runners Club hosts the Wabash Cannonball Trail running event on August 7, 2026, at Keener Park in Monclova, Ohio. The 5K starts at 6:30 p.m. and the kids 1K starts at 6:00 p.m. The out-and-back course runs west past Weckerly Road along the Wabash Cannonball Trail. Entry fees are $15 for non-members and $9 for TRRC members for the 5K; the kids race (ages 12 and under) costs $5 for non-members and is free for TRRC members. Overall male and female 5K winners receive awards from Second Sole Running store, and all kids race finishers earn awards. The first 110 5K registrants receive a special giveaway prize, with additional drawings held during the race. Race day check-in opens at 5:30 p.m. and closes at 6:25 p.m. Online registration is required.
