The race.
The Waldenwoods Turkey Trot takes place on November 1st, 2026, starting and finishing at Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center in Howell, Michigan. This 3.2-mile trail race benefits the Hartland Area Project and follows a route around Lake Walden. Registration costs $30 through October 20th, $35 through November 2nd, and $40 on race day, with same-day registration permitted. Finishers receive a t-shirt, and post-race snacks and raffle prizes are provided, including entries for drawings with prizes such as a one-year Waldenwoods Day Use Membership. To guarantee race day swag, participants should register by October 12th.
