The race.

The Welcome Back 5K Fun Run/Walk is a community‑building event that brings together alumni, faculty, staff, and students, friends and family to kick off the new academic year. Designed to promote social connection as well as mental and physical wellbeing, the event encourages participants of all fitness levels to come together, move, and recharge—setting a positive, healthy tone for the school year ahead.

Race Start Time

The 5K Run/walk will start at 5:30PM. Please plan your arrival with ample time for parking, picking up race packet (if not already picked up) and making your way to Gullen Mall for the start of the event.

Packet Pick Up

Participants are encouraged to pick up their packets early by visiting Student Success Hub, Undergraduate Library on Thursday or Friday between 10:00AM - 5:00PM. Make sure to have your race bib pinned on the front of your body for the run/walk!
