The race.
The 6th Annual Waves of Education 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 19, 2026, in Clark, NJ at Oak Ridge Park. Participants can run or walk the 5K course; timing is provided for the first 20 finishers, with awards given to the top 3 male and female finishers. The event supports educational opportunities for children in Uganda through Waves of Education. A Family Fun Festival follows the race, featuring kids' races by age group, pre-race yoga, raffles, prizes, a magician, face painting, caricatures, and lawn games. Participants aged 12 and under receive an additional 15% off registration. Food and entertainment are available after the race.
