The race.
The West Chester Mile takes place Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Henderson High School in West Chester, PA. The event features a 1-mile race divided into approximately 10 heats based on ability level, plus a 400-meter race, an 800-meter race, and an elite men's 800-meter race. Spectator tickets are available for $6 online or $10 on race day. Registered athletes receive a voucher for customizable t-shirts available at a tent on race day. The post-race celebration begins at 8:45 p.m. at the Hotel Warner and includes pizza and drink specials. Prize money exceeding $4,000 is offered to elite male runners breaking 4:00 and elite female runners breaking 4:40.
