Westover Run the Runway 2026

The race.

Westover Run the Runway is a 5K race held October 3, 2026, in Chicopee, MA, on a flat, paved course at Westover Metropolitan Airport. The race benefits the Westover Galaxy Community Council and supports Westover military families. Participants who register by September 1 receive a race t-shirt; registration fees increase after that deadline. Start and finish are at the airport's civilian side; participants enter a federal military installation and must pass security screening with a Real ID and complete pre-run vetting. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted, though users should arrive early for clearance. A charity car show runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the same day on the airport grounds, featuring vintage vehicles, food trucks, and raffles.
