WGPAL Donut Dash 5K 2026

The race.

The WGPAL Donut Dash 5K takes place November 7, 2026, in Downtown Winter Garden, Florida, starting at 8:00 AM from Newton Park. Participants run a 5K course with three designated donut-eating zones at the 1-mile, 2-mile, and 3-mile marks; each donut consumed reduces final time by 30 seconds, with bonus reductions for eating 12 or more donuts. All registered participants receive a race medal, with additional medals awarded to first and second place finishers in each age category and top three overall finishers by gender. The event benefits the Winter Garden Police Athletic League, which funds an eight-week summer camp for at-risk youth and a holiday gift program for approximately 400 children in need. A kids fun run follows at 9:30 AM, included free with each adult entry. Online registration closes November 6 at 11:59 PM; packet pickup is available November 6 from 3:00–7:00 PM at the Winter Garden Police Department or race morning starting at 6:15 AM.
