The race.
The White River Marathon takes place on November 21, 2026, in Cotter, Arkansas, with a 7:00 a.m. start time and a 2:00 p.m. course cutoff. The marathon follows a flat course along the White River and finishes in a park. Packet pickup occurs on Friday, November 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cotter Schools, where a pasta dinner is also served, with additional pickup available on race morning from 5:30 to 6:40 a.m. The event is limited to 750 total participants across all distances and is USATF Boston Marathon qualifying certified. Participants are invited to bring old shoes for the race's shoe recycling drive.
