Wickham Summer XC Series 2026

Description

This will be the 35'th edition of the annual Wickham Park Cross Country Summer Series covering a challenging 2.6 mile +/- course. The series consists of 5 Monday evening races to be held starting at 6:30PM. We'll use a points system this year for the full series first place age group award. Please retain your BIB number received at the Park for all races you participate in to simplify scoring across multiple races for the series.

Racers under 18 require a parent or guardian's approval and should be capable of completing the course in less than 45 minutes without supervision.

We encourage participants to take advantage of the opportunity to register for the full series at a discounted price + lower fees. (Walkup registration accepted by cash or check made out to Silk City Striders starting at 5:45PM and closing at ~6:15 PM to allow for prompt race start at 6:30 PM).

Free entry to park for race participants, Spectators pay the regular fee.

We will not cancel unless the park is closed.

Net proceeds from participant fees to benefit Manchester High School Shoe Fund which provides running shoes to student athletes that cannot afford them.
