Wickham Summer XC Series 2026

The race.

The Wickham Summer XC Series is a five-race Monday evening cross country series held at Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut, with races beginning at 6:30 p.m. Each race covers approximately 2.6 miles on a cross country course. Participants can register for individual races or the full series at a discounted rate; walk-up registration by cash or check opens at 5:45 p.m. and closes around 6:15 p.m. Racers under 18 must have parental consent and be capable of completing the course in under 45 minutes. A points system awards first place in age groups across the series; runners should retain their bib numbers from race to race for scoring purposes. Race participants receive free park entry, and net proceeds benefit the Manchester High School Shoe Fund.
