Widdy's Work presents Stomp Out the Stigma on August 9, 2026, in Lakewood, WA at Fort Steilacoom Park. Runners can choose a 5K or 1-mile distance, both featuring mostly paved terrain with a short dirt/gravel section. The 5K starts and finishes at the lake entrance; the 1-mile route circles Waughop Lake. Parking is available at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom campus with trail access to the park. The 5K is chip-timed. Race shirts are included for those registering by July 21, and finishing medals go to the first 200 finishers. The event supports mental wellness awareness.
