The race.

The Willie McCool Memorial Half-Marathon, 5K & 10K takes place in Lubbock, TX on October 10, 2026, organized by West Texas Endurance. Participants can choose from a half-marathon (13.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), or 5K (3.1 miles), with separate youth divisions for runners 12 and under. The races start and finish at the Silent Wings Museum. The half-marathon route passes through the Lubbock Business Park and past the Lubbock Country Club, while the 5K and 10K courses loop around the area before returning to the museum.
