The race.
Wishing Flower Walk & 5K takes place August 23, 2026, in Cleveland, OH, featuring a 5K run/walk (chip-timed), 1-mile run/walk, and Dandelion Kids Dash for children 12 and under. Registration and packet pickup begin at 7:00am, with the kids' dash starting at 8:15am, the 5K at 8:30am, and the 1-mile event at 9:00am. Participants receive a short-sleeved t-shirt, post-race refreshments, and all-day zoo admission; kids in the Dandelion dash also receive a cape. Pre-registration closes Friday, August 21 at midnight; mailed entries must arrive by Wednesday, August 19. Supporters age 2 and over pay $20 for a wristband. All wristbands must be collected by 9:00am, and zoo entry must occur by 11:00am.
