The race.
The Worthington YMCA hosts its first triathlon across two days in August 2026. The kids triathlon on August 15th runs from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for ages up to 15, featuring a 50-yard swim, 1.5-mile bike, and 0.5-mile run, with registration at $30 per athlete. The adult triathlon on August 16th starts at 8:00 a.m. (with a 7:30 a.m. mandatory meeting) and includes a 300-yard swim, 12.4-mile bike, and 5K run; individual registration costs $50, or $115 for a three-person team with divided events. Early registration before August 1st includes a free t-shirt. Proceeds benefit the Worthington YMCA.
