Yellowstone Gateway 30K 2026

The race.

The Yellowstone Gateway 30K takes place on September 20, 2026, in Pray, Montana, starting at Sage Lodge and finishing at Chico Hot Springs Resort. The 30-kilometer course covers 18.2 miles with 2,609 feet of elevation gain and 2,366 feet of descent, using off-road terrain including trails, gravel roads, and jeep paths. The race begins at 7:30 AM on race day, with packet pickup held the Friday prior in Livingston. The point-to-point course features three aid stations stocked with water, Tailwind Nutrition drinks, gels, and trail food; runners must bring their own bottles. Cutoff times are set at 12:45 PM at the Emigrant Gulch turnaround, 1:45 PM at Emigrant Gulch Aid Station, and 2:35 PM at Old Chico Aid Station.
