Yellowstone Trail Races takes place August 1, 2026, in West Yellowstone, Montana, on trails in Custer Gallatin National Forest near Yellowstone National Park's west entrance. Runners may choose from a 50K, 25K, marathon, half marathon, or 10K distance, with Sunday options available for the 50K, 25K, and 10K. All participants receive a race medal, lanyard, custom bib, stickers, Hammer Nutrition products, aid station support, chip timing, and finish-line snacks and refreshments. Custom race shirts are available for purchase and shipped via Amazon Prime. The Forest Service recommends participants carry bear spray.
