The race.
The YMCA Rudolph Run 2026 takes place on December 5 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, featuring a 1-mile fun run, 5K, and 8K. Registration opens at 7 AM, with the 1-mile run starting at 7:45 AM and the 5K and 8K races beginning at 8 AM. Child Watch activities are available starting at 7:30 AM. The 8K and 5K races each award prizes to the top three male and female finishers overall and in age categories ranging from under 9 to 75 and older. Children under 9 participating in the 1-mile fun run receive medals. Hot cocoa and refreshments will be available.
