About the race
The race.
The Zachary M. Martin Memorial Run/Walk is a 5K run/walk event held September 12, 2026, in Bristol, Rhode Island. Proceeds benefit Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, which supports struggling and homeless veterans, with additional funds directed toward PTSD veteran assistance and their families. All participants receive military-style dog tags; the first 150 registrants receive a complimentary t-shirt. Electronic timing via MyLaps BiB tags is used. Military and first responders receive a $5 registration discount, and children 12 and under register free. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome.
