About the race.
The fifteenth Annual Thanksgiving Day Gillham Road GobbleTrot returns to Hyde Park at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, November 26, 2026. This feel-good, family-friendly 5K run/walk starts and finishes at Pilgrim Chapel, 3801 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO, and winds through historic Hyde Park. All proceeds benefit the Pilgrim Center for Connection and its free community programming. The in-person 5K is chip-timed and USATF-certified. The Children's Dash for kids 8 and under follows the 5K; virtual 5K and virtual Children's Dash options are also available. Packet pick-up at Pilgrim Chapel: Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25, 3–7 PM; walk-up Thanksgiving morning 7:30–9:00 AM.
