Getting your race covered

How to list your event and choose how photo coverage is funded.

Listing your event

Start by claiming or listing your race so it is set up for photo coverage. You can do this from the race directors page, or ask a teammate to help get your event added.

Choosing how coverage is funded

There is no retainer. You can rely on free community uploads, where runners and spectators add the shots they took, or guarantee coverage so there is a photographer on course and you only pay the gap if sales do not cover it. As an example, for a typical 10K you might set a floor of around $345; if photo sales bring in $260, you would owe about $85.

Inviting your own photographers

If you have photographers already, invite them by email and they are assigned to your event. They work alongside PodiumBase coverage rather than being replaced by it.
