Posting a photographer opportunity

Post an opportunity

From your event's Photographers tab, open the applications area. Post an opportunity so photographers can apply to shoot your race. Set how many shooters you need, an apply deadline, and a description of what you are looking for. Your event needs to be published first before you can post.

Review who applied

As photographers apply, each one shows up in a review queue under its opportunity. For each applicant you can Approve or Decline. Approving brings the photographer into your event's pre-authorized photographers, so they are cleared to shoot. Declining asks for a short note, which is sent to the photographer word for word, so keep it brief and kind. It helps them apply well next time.

Close it out

When you have the photographers you need, close the opportunity. Closed opportunities still show the applicants you decided on, so you keep a clear record. You can post another opportunity any time you need more coverage.
