What a coverage zone is

A coverage zone is a place and time you want photographed, such as the finish-line chute or a scenic climb. You define your zones, then assign photographers to cover them, so nothing important goes unshot.

Map a zone

Open your event and go to the Bounty zones tab. Use the add zone option, give the zone a name, set a radius in meters, and drop a pin on the map. If you uploaded a course file, the pin snaps to your route. Create the zone, and repeat for each spot you want covered. The console shows how many of your zones have a photographer so you can see your coverage at a glance.

Assign a photographer

From a zone, assign one of your photographers to cover it. This is coverage assignment, so a photographer is responsible for that place and time. You can revoke an assignment if plans change.

Brief your photographer

After you assign a photographer, you can write them a pre-race brief for that zone. Lead with the must-get shots, then add the meeting point and time, any kit or weather notes, what should stay in or out of frame, and an on-site emergency contact. Send the brief so your photographer arrives knowing exactly what you need.
