The race.

Lakad for Rights takes place Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Columbia Park in Portland, Oregon, offering 5K and 10K distances. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with runner check-in at 8:00 a.m. and races beginning at 9:00 a.m. Registration fees range from $35 to $40 depending on registration timing, and finishers receive a Lakad shirt (subject to availability for late registrations). From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., participants can enjoy Filipino food, vendor booths, activities, and live performances. Proceeds support health-related projects in the Philippines through the Foundation for Philippine Progress and health programs of the Filipino Bayanihan Center in Portland.
