The 1000 Mile BikeWalk for Prevention takes place August 22, 2026, in Morristown, Tennessee. Participants bike or walk on closed roadways over separate circuits—approximately 5 miles for biking and 1 mile for walking—plus a sidewalk-only route for children. This non-timed event accumulates individual distances toward a collective 1000-mile goal, with prizes awarded by classification for greatest distance traveled. Fundraising teams receive bonus mileage based on donations made by event day. Virtual participants may register online and complete their distances remotely. Proceeds benefit the Hamblen County Substance Abuse Coalition.
