About the race
The race.
The 2025 Carson Valley Turkey Trot Fun Run takes place on Thanksgiving morning in downtown Minden, starting at Minden Park. Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 0.2-mile Turkey Dash for children 12 and under. A virtual race option is available for those unable to attend in person. T-shirts and swag bags are provided to participants as available. Same-day registration is offered if the race reaches capacity.
