Veterans Day Fun Run 2026

The race.

The Veterans Day Fun Run and 5K Race takes place November 11, 2026, in Carson City, Nevada, organized by Carson High Safe Grad. Two distances are offered: a 5K race starting at 9:00 AM and a 1-mile fun run starting at 9:15 AM, both on flat courses through Riverview Park. Race day check-in begins at 8:00 AM for bib pickup, followed by a veteran tribute at 8:45 AM. The 5K costs $35 and includes a commemorative medal; the 1-mile run costs $15 and includes a participation ribbon. Veterans, active-duty military, and students receive a $10 discount on the 5K. An awards ceremony at 9:45 AM recognizes top finishers by gender and age category (students and adults 19+) plus a Most Patriotic Outfit prize. Water and snacks are available at the finish. Proceeds benefit Nation's Finest and Carson High Safe Grad's safe and sober graduation celebration program.
