About the race
The race.
The 2026 4,000 Steps for Diabetes Run takes place on October 10 at GCT Middle School in Paragould, Arkansas. Participants can run or walk the 2-mile Eagle Mile course, with registration open to individuals and teams. Race day begins at 2:00 p.m. with pre-race activities and a 4:00 p.m. start time. Packet pickup and t-shirts are available October 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Baptist Paragould Atrium, or day-of before the race. Awards are given for costumes, creativity, and team spirit. Proceeds support the American Diabetes Association and Type 1 diabetes research and community efforts.
