2026 MLK Dream Run

The race.

The 2026 MLK Dream Run takes place September 19–20 at Portland Community College Cascade Campus in Portland, Oregon. The event features three race distances—5K, 10K, and 15K—with races beginning Sunday at 8:00 AM (15K), 8:10 AM (10K), and 8:20 AM (5K). Online registration closes Friday, September 18 at noon. Pre-packet pickup and onsite registration occur Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. All finishers receive a Nike race t-shirt, swag bag, cold beverage, grilled cheese sandwich, and raffle entry. Awards follow USATF gender categories across youth, open, masters, and super-masters divisions, with overall winners in each distance receiving Alaska Airlines round-trip tickets and category winners earning medals.
