About the race
The race.
The 2026 Terror Twilight Track Meet takes place July 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Appleton West Track (610 N. Badger Avenue, Appleton, WI). The open meet welcomes all ages and abilities with no registration fee. Field events include shot put, long jump, high jump, and pole vault (athletes must provide own poles; no same-day pole vault registration). Running events span 50 meters (kids), 100 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1600 meters, and relay races (4x100 and 4x400), with approximate start times throughout the evening. Water and Fox Pops refreshments are available, bleacher seating is provided, and parking is available in West lots and designated neighborhood streets. The event proceeds rain or shine unless unsafe weather occurs.
