2026 Terror Twilight Track Meet presented by Appleton West High School 2026

Now in its eighth year! Join us on Wednesday, July 29, 6:00-8:00 PM, for an open to all ages and abilities TERROR TWILIGHT TRACK MEET presented by Appleton West High School. The event will be held at the Appleton West Track located behind Appleton West. Come down the street or from across the state!

Sign up and test your training progress, see how you match up to others on the track surface, or simply join in on the fun with no pressure to be 'speedy'. We just want you in on the action as we grow this event! The goal is to offer an evening of physical activity and social engagement; *your* ability is welcome on the track.

This is an OPEN meet ; you are not required to have a current or past association with Appleton West. We welcome anyone who wants to share in the fun.

New this Year: 800 meters and Pole Vault events are new this year. All pole vaulters must provide their own poles and there will be no same day registration for pole vaulters.

Registration Fee: With the support of donations and an entirely volunteer hosting team there is no cost to this event. Register early to secure your limited edition bag tag.

Event Location: Appleton West Track located at 610 N. Badger Avenue in Appleton.

Event Parking: Parking is available in West parking lots and on designated neighborhood streets.

Food and Water: We will have water available to fill water bottles. Also, Fox Pops will be available for sale throughout the event.

Event Seating: Bleacher seating is available.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: These are approximate starting times.

4:15 Pole Vault Pit Open for warm-ups 5:00 Onsite Registration Opens (No same day registration for pole vault.) 5:00. Pole Vault Event Begins 6:00 Shot Put, Long Jump, High Jump Events Begin 6:00 1600 m (2 heats based on goal pace) 6:30 800 m (2 heats based on goal pace) 6:50 100 m (anticipating teens and adults) 7:15 50 m kid’s race (multiple heats) 7:30 400 m Open 7:45 4 X 100 (practice hand-off race for the 4 X 400) 8:00 4 X 400 (may be split into smaller pieces)

NOTE: Event is rain or shine, unsafe weather would be the only cause for cancellation.
