The race.
The 2nd Annual Brewster Grin 'N Bear It 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on October 24, 2026, in Brewster, NY, starting and finishing at C.V. Starr Intermediate School. Participants can choose between a 5-kilometer race or a 1-mile fun run, with both events open to runners and walkers of all abilities. The 5K course runs through the Brewster community and school district. Finishers in the first 200 registrants receive event shirts. All race proceeds benefit the Brewster Teachers' Association Scholarships through the Brewster Education Foundation.
