2ND REHOBOTH BEACH LIFEGUARD 5K RUN/WALK 2026

The race.

The 2nd Rehoboth Beach Lifeguard 5K Run/Walk takes place on August 15, 2026, at the Bandstand/Boardwalk on Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The 5K course is an out-and-back route along the boardwalk. The race starts at 7:00 a.m. Registration fees are $30 through August 2, $35 through August 14, and $40 on race day (6:00–6:50 a.m.). Online registration through RunSignUp and mail-in registration are available. Participants registered by August 10 receive a guaranteed t-shirt; later registrations receive shirts on a first-come basis. Awards are presented to overall male and female champions, masters competitors (40+), and the top three finishers in 16 age categories ranging from 9 and under to 80 and older. The event benefits the Rehoboth Beach Patrol and is organized by Seashore Striders Event Production.
