About the race
The race.
The 44th Annual Nautical 1 Mile & 6K Run/Walk takes place on August 15, 2026, in Rogers City, Michigan, starting and finishing at the corner of Michigan and 1st Street. The 1-mile run/walk begins at 8:30 a.m., with the 6K run starting at 9:00 a.m. and a separate 6K walk beginning one minute later. Packet pickup is available Friday from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Michigan and 1st Street, with race-day registration from 7:00–8:15 a.m. at Lakeside Pavilion. The course uses paved bike paths and streets. Age-group awards are presented for multiple categories in each distance. Registered participants by August 1 receive a guaranteed t-shirt.
