About the race
The race.
The 48th Annual Roseville Big Bird Run takes place on November 8, 2026, in Roseville, Michigan. Participants can choose from four distances: a 1-mile fun run, 2.5-mile run, 3.1-mile 5K, or 6.2-mile 10K, all starting at 10:00 AM from the Recreation Authority Center at 18185 Sycamore. The course uses Gratiot Avenue, an I-696 pedestrian bridge, residential streets, and parks. Finishers in the 10K and 5K receive a medal and long-sleeve shirt; top overall and age-group finishers in these distances earn additional awards. Pre-registration closes November 6 at 4:00 PM (fees: $40 for 10K, $35 for 5K, $25 for 1 mile); race-day registration adds $5 and accepts only cash or card.
