The race.
The 7th Annual Flag Run 5K takes place July 4th, 2026 in Boerne, Texas. The 5K race starts at 8:05 a.m., with a 1-mile walk option beginning at 8:00 a.m. Participants are encouraged to carry American flags while running. Awards are presented for first, second, and third place overall finishers in male and female categories, as well as for those running with full standard-size American flags. All runners receive a t-shirt and finisher medal, with aid stations, food, drinks, and music available. Proceeds benefit the Boerne Fire Department.
