The race.

A Merry Christmas Run takes place in Memphis, TN on December 26, 2026, offering 5K and 10K distances organized by The Best Races. Participants can choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 AM, with coordinators supporting runners for three hours after the first wave. Registration includes a race bib provided on race day, finisher's medal, running t-shirt (shipped to US addresses), finisher's towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online results with certificate of completion. Optional timing is available through personal tracking apps or coordinator assistance; timing chips are not used. A virtual run option is also available. Runners can join local running clubs and may participate in optional fundraising where $1 per logged mile after the race supports partner charities.
