The race.

A Race for the Ages takes place September 3, 2026, at Fred Deadman Park in Manchester, Tennessee, on a one-mile loop course. Runners aged 41 and older receive a time limit in hours equal to their age, while runners 40 and under compete over 40 hours, with the winner determined by most miles accumulated. The event features hot meals served every six hours, ice available for purchase, indoor bathrooms on the course, and additional portapotties. On-site tent camping is available, along with motels within one mile of the park. The race allows RV camping in the designated back parking area if a camper fits within a single parking spot.
