Albany Community Triathlon 2026

The race.

The Albany Community Triathlon takes place on September 20, 2026, at the Albany Aquatic Center and Memorial Park in Albany, California. Two distance options are available: a Super Sprint triathlon with a 400-meter pool swim, 10-kilometer bike, and 2.5-kilometer run; and a shorter Mini Triathlon with a 70-meter swim, 2.5-kilometer bike, and 1-kilometer run. The Super Sprint begins at 9:15 a.m. with heats every 15 minutes, while the Mini Triathlon starts at 7:50 a.m. with heats every 10 minutes. Both courses use the Albany Aquatic Center's 25-yard outdoor pool and loop around Albany High School and Memorial Park on closed city streets. Relay teams are permitted for the Super Sprint but not the Mini Triathlon. Proceeds benefit the Albany Athletics Boosters, which supports middle and high school athletics and leadership programs.
