Algoma Shanty Days 5k Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Algoma Shanty Days 5K Run/Walk takes place on August 15, 2026, in Algoma, Wisconsin, starting and finishing at the Robert Ray Gallery, 520 Parkway Street. The chip-timed course passes the river and runs through town, finishing downhill along Lake Michigan's shoreline. Registered participants receive a t-shirt, with medals awarded to the top three finishers in each age group and the overall male and female winners. Same-day race results are provided. A Kids Superhero Fun Run for children ages 9 and under follows the 5K, with a non-chip-timed route looping the Algoma Shanty Days grounds; participating children also receive a t-shirt and medal.
