The race.
The Almont Heritage Festival running event takes place September 20, 2026, in Almont, Michigan, featuring three distances: a 1-mile fun run, 3.1-mile 5K, and 6.2-mile 10K. Race headquarters and day-of registration open at 8 AM at the downtown Entertainment Tent. The fun run starts at 9 AM, followed by the 10K at 9:15 AM and the 5K at 9:25 AM. All finishers receive medals, and finishers enjoy water, bananas, and donuts. Adult 5K and 10K registrants receive event swag, with awards given to top finishers in both distances.
