Amherst Skeleton Run 2026

The Amherst Skeleton Run takes place October 25, 2026, in Amherst, OH, featuring a 3.1-mile 5K run, a 1/4-mile silly run for K-5th graders, and a 1/2-mile funny run for 6-8th graders. Race day registration and packet pickup begin at 7:00 a.m. in Steele Gym Lobby, with the youth runs starting at 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9:30 a.m. The 5K costs $30 for pre-registration or $35 day-of; youth runs are free. All participants receive a participation medal and finisher shirt, with post-race food and drinks provided. Chip timing is available for 5K participants. Awards go to overall and age-group winners across multiple categories, plus top three finishers in dog and stroller divisions. Proceeds benefit RUNAMHERST.com. Mailed pre-registered entries must arrive by October 16, 2026.
