Anderson 5k Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Anderson 5K Run/Walk takes place September 26, 2026, at Vandalia Rec Center in Dayton, OH. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with the 5K starting at 9 a.m. and course closing at 10:30 a.m. Registration costs $30 for adults and $20 for students through September 16; shirts are included with early registration. Race-day registration is $35, with shirts not guaranteed after September 16. Finishers receive water, a granola bar, and entry into door prize drawings. Awards go to top overall male and female finishers plus winners in age categories from 9 and under through 60 and over. Proceeds benefit the Kayla Anderson Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to graduating Vandalia Butler High School seniors. Dogs are not permitted at the event.
