Angry Bear Holiday Fun Run and 5K 2026

The race.

The Angry Bear Holiday Fun Run and 5K takes place December 5, 2026, in Massillon, Ohio, benefiting the Jackson High School Baseball team. Participants can choose between a 1-mile Fun Run for ages 10 and under or a 5K run/walk. The 1-mile Fun Run begins at 4:15 p.m. as an untimed event, followed by the 5K at 5:00 p.m. All finishers receive medals, water, and snacks including bananas, granola bars, and energy bars. The event features a costume contest with categories for Best Winter Outfit, Funniest, and Most Festive. Packet pickup is available Friday, December 4, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 5, from 3:30 p.m. onward. Age group awards for the 5K span 14-Under through 70-Over categories, plus overall male and female winners.
