Area 13.1 Half Marathon 2026

The race.

Area 13.1 Half Marathon takes place August 15, 2026, in Roswell, GA, as a night race starting at 7 p.m. from Chattahoochee Nature Center. The half marathon course features two loops along the river and boardwalks with 240 feet of elevation gain; participants must complete the race within 3 hours 45 minutes, with the finish line closing at 11 p.m. For 2026, only the 13.1-mile distance is offered, limited to 1,500 runners. All half marathon finishers receive an alien head medal, a tri-blend shirt, and runners 21 and over receive a free beer from Gate City Brewing Company. Headlamps or running lights are required. Virtual 10K, 3.1-mile, 6.2-mile, 5K, and kids dash events are also available.
