The race.
The Aurora Turkey Trot 5K & Mashed Potato Mile takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Aurora, OH. Runners can participate in a 1-mile race starting at 8:00am or a 5K race starting at 8:30am, with a combo option available. Day-of packet pickup begins at 7:00am at Aurora High School cafeteria entrance; early pickup is offered Wednesday, November 25 from 4–6pm at the same location. The event accepts non-perishable food donations at packet pickup, with most-needed items including peanut butter, jelly, snacks, canned soup, canned fruit, pasta, and pasta sauce.
