Babcock Labor Day 5K Run or Walk 2026

The race.

The Babcock Labor Day 5K Run or Walk takes place September 7, 2026, in Punta Gorda, Florida. Participants may choose a chip-timed run or untimed walk on a 3.1-mile paved course through Babcock Ranch. The race starts at 7:30 AM at Lee Health (42880 Crescent Loop) and finishes at Founders Square boardwalk. Packet pickup is available September 3–4 from 9 AM to 5 PM at Babcock Ranch Lifestyles Office, or race morning from 6:30–7:15 AM at Founders Square pavilion. All finishers receive a medal; overall and age-group awards (top three in 16 age categories) are presented at the bandstand. Runners who register by August 25 receive a guaranteed shirt size; post-race snacks and water stations at the halfway point and finish line are provided.
