BATTLE OF THE BADGES - 5K 2026

The race.

Battle of the Badges is a 3.1-mile 5K held September 11, 2026, in Hermitage, PA. The event features team-based competition among police, fire, and EMS departments, with teams of 4–6 members and the top four finishers' times counting toward each department's score. Community members may participate individually or represent a local department. Awards are given for overall champion department, fastest team, most spirited team, community choice, and fastest individual finishers by gender. Finishers receive medals. Proceeds support The Badge & Flame Project.
