The Beas Knees Citizens' Race and National High School Trail Championships take place on July 25, 2026, in Salida, Colorado. The Beas Knees Citizens' Race starts at 7:20 a.m. and covers 5.4 miles on a trail course. The National High School Trail Championships, also 5.4 miles on the same trail, follows later that morning and includes boys' and girls' competition for high school athletes. Both races use the same trail course featuring switchbacks, climbs, descents, and rocks.
