The race.
The Big Bear Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026, in Big Bear Lake, California, with races of 3, 6, 9, and 13.1 miles starting and finishing at Dank Donuts in the Moonridge Corridor. Registration opens at 8:00 AM, with the 3-mile run beginning at 9:30 AM. Entry costs $40 for adults and $25 for youth under 18, with a $5 local discount available with ID at packet pickup. Every participant receives a holiday finisher ornament and access to the Danksgiving celebration at the finish line featuring live music and refreshments. The event includes a holiday yoga warm-up, a costume contest with awards, and packet pickup available November 23–25 from 4–7 PM at The Yellow Post or race morning at Dank Donuts.
