The Billy Mills Run/Walk for Life takes place August 30, 2026, in Seattle, WA, hosted by Urban Native Education Alliance as a suicide prevention and awareness event. Participants choose from three distances: a 1.2-mile option for ages 6 and under, a 5.8k run/walk for ages 7–17, and a 5.8k run/walk for adults and elders. The event starts at North Seattle College (9600 College Way North), with the course route available on the college map. Registration, activities, resource tables, and food are held in the courtyard. All participants receive free entry; youth under 18 get free t-shirts, while adults can purchase t-shirts for a $15 suggested donation. The day includes entertainment by DJ Big Rez, Olympic Gold Medalist Billy Mills, free refreshments (ice cream and popcorn), boxing and lacrosse showcases, and a poetry contest with cash prizes. Proceeds benefit the Native Warrior Athletics Program.
