Bit of Hope Ranch 5K Trail Run, 2K Walk, & Half-Pint Run 2026

The race.

Bit of Hope Ranch hosts a certified 5K trail run, 2K walk, and 400-meter Half-Pint Run for children ages 7 and under on October 10, 2026, at 5001 CR Wood Rd. in Gastonia, NC. The Half-Pint Run begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K Trail Run at 9:00 a.m. on a 50-acre horse ranch; walkers start after runners depart. Race day packet pickup and walk-up registration open at 7:30 a.m. Registration fees are $35 for the 5K ($30 early registration through August 31), $35 for the 2K walk ($30 early registration through August 31), and $15 for the Half-Pint Run. Finisher shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event proceeds rain or shine but will be cancelled if lightning occurs.
